Today, I decided to play with Ken Oliver Color Burst powdered watercolors in Lemon Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, and Pthalo Green. Fun, but messy. After my watercolor background dried, I used a stencil, and some Ranger Texture Paste in transparent gloss, mixed with a bit of Crystal Glitter Ritz in Warm Highlight.
The Hello die is Lawn fawn, popped up on some fun foam, and glittered with some random glitter from either Walmart, or the Dollar store - I forget. "Friend" is part of a sentiment from a Close To My Heart set called Fabulous You - I simply taped off what I wanted for my own purposes. These were put on a paper heart doily and attached to my watercolor panel, which was then attached to a Gina K Designs heavy base weight white card base.
And of course my new handy-dandy name stamp for the back. :)

Really great card, love your colors. Are you entering this in the STV Challenge as well as Mod Squad? I believe it's part of the rules that you include a link back to the challenge. Just a heads up. I love your layout and that glittery hello. Awesome creation!!! Oh, wait, guess you can't enter it over at STV because you didn't use their stamps. Sorry, my mistake!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow....LOVE your colors are so fantastic! Your paper doily looks a like a beautiful die and makes for a lovely backdrop! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Mod Squad Blog! Now send that off to your friend, they will love you all the more! ;)
