This birthday card for a soon to be 8 year old was made with the #stampofapproval kit by +Catherine Pooler . This is the first time I've purchased this kit, but I don't think it will be the last. What a fun bunch of stamps/dies. Really easy to bounce from kid to adult cards.
I took an A2 card panel in white, stamped a bunch of the balloons, and then added a bunch of confetti/streamer stamps randomly Stamped the big sentiment in the middle, and then used the scalloped rectangle die in the kit to cut down my panel. Mounted it to a white card base, and added some snow flake acetate to the frame portion, popped it up with dimensional tape, filled the center with Happy Birthday confetti, stars, and frosted sequins, and popped the frame on to the base to make a shaker card.
I messed up stamping the star below (color cross contamination), so re-stamped it, cut it out, gave it a smiley face, and popped it up over the messed up one. (There are no mistakes - only room for more embellishments.)
Thanks for looking, and be sure to make something pretty today.

Be Mine..
I really do love combining companies.. I embossed Gina K Designs card stock with a Stampin Up heart folder. To that I attached a shaker using Papertrey Ink Pure Poppy red, a doily die cut, and some shaker bits from Gina K, and Pretty Pink Posh. Framed it with a My Favorite Things stitched circle frame, and popped a die cut layered Lala Land banner across the top. My sentiment is from Verve Stamp's Hearts on Fire set, and my cute little raccoon is from a Gina K kit called Friends Til The End (also appropriate for Valentines Day and/or Love themes).
Thanks for looking. Now go make something pretty. :)
